Our passion is to glorify God among the nations through obedience to the Scriptures, disciplined prayer, reliance on the Holy Spirit, and worship. We strive to proclaim Biblical truth, evidenced by integrity in lifestyle and relationships.

Our Statement Of Faith

We believe in the Holy Scriptures, consisting of the Old and New Testaments, as originally given by God, divinely inspired, inerrant, infallible, entirely trustworthy; and the supreme authority in all matters of faith and practice.

We believe in one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

About points of difference…

Other mission organisations may share similar distinctives on paper. What is truly distinctive of Pioneers is better understood through experience rather than just reading about it.

Faith-ful

We exist with a dependency on God for all things through faith filled prayer and action. ‘Walking in faith’ requires taking time to hear from Him, and praying and acting according to His perceived will – which may not necessarily line up with popular understanding, “common” sense, the latest trends, or accepted conventions.

Tough Places

There is no people group with least access to gospel resources that is too large, too small, or too hard for God to reach through those God has called to the task. Pioneers is working among as many of those people groups as possible.

Community Focused

Our ministry focus is unashamedly: Evangelism, Discipleship, and starting outreaching Christ-centred worship communities (i.e. churches). All the while we acknowledge there are many means to this end.

Collaboration Is The Future

It is no surprise that Jesus prayed to the Father that His disciples would be one as He and the Father were one (John 17:11). The Kingdom of God depends on the unity of the body. Where there is unity there blessing flows and in Biblical terms blessing essentially means growth. At the heart of Pioneers is a desire to play our part in God’s KINGDOM purposes, not build our own meagre empire(s). To that end we are eager to partner with any and all who seek the same goals as we do – churches established where few currently exist.

God

It should go without saying, but we want to ensure it’s not missed – we believe the Holy Spirit is the Director of Mission and that our mission is sourced from the heart of God. He is our senior partner, our source, our provider, and our sustainer.
