Changes ahead
Sadly, Chris Ayers will step down as Pioneers NZ Director in April 2026 after 8 impactful years. We are so thankful for his leadership over this time. It is now time for a new season for him and for PINZ. Pray for Chris as he moves into other areas - and for the PINZ board as they begin searching for a new director.
International Director dropping in!
Mark Syn, Pioneers International Director, will be visiting the PINZ office in November. While we are priviledged to have Jo Lima (one of the Associate Directors) based in Auckland, it isn't often that the International Director visits NZ. Pray for a fruitful time with Mark.
Soup and Stories
We had a great night of Soup and Stories in October with Katherine sharing fascinating stories of life in an isolated part of East Africa. She trains medical workers and is significantly increasing the number of medical workers across the region and impacting lives as students study together in the programme she leads. The picture on the TV shows the challenges of travel to her location of service - particularly during the wet season.
Kiwi Leave
Katherine Y. & Penny K. are both in NZ on Kiwi leave/home assignment until the end of the year. They have been travelling across the country and sharing their stories.
The Broughton family (James, Carolyn, will, Ben and Ruby) are also visiting NZ for short time during November & December.
Home assignment can be a busy time of reconnecting, reporting, and hopefully some rest and renewal.
